Saalfelden is located centrally between the most interesting ski areas in Austria. From your holiday apartment, you can reach 6 dreamlike ski areas within 20 minutes by car.

The “Nordic Centre Saalfelden” has an extensive offer for cross-country skiers. Here, you can find more than 150 km of cross-country ski trails, for skiers in the classic and skating style. Around the centre in Saalfelden, there are cross-country ski trails covered with artificial snow as well as floodlit trails, where you can ski into the evening.

From Saalfelden, you can go cross-country skiing in almost every direction - to Zell am See and Oberpinzgau, the possibilities are endless! Towards Maria Alm or Saalachtal and Bavaria. You can also cross-country ski towards Hochfilzen in Tirol. Here you can find outstanding cross-country ski trails in the center of the Biathlon World Cup and even have the opportunity to take part in a “Guest Biathlon”. Put your stamina to the test on a cross-country ski and test out your ability whilst shooting - an unforgettable experience for the whole family!
